WAIKIKI OFFSHORES SERIES ANNOUNCES
2006 DATES AND FORMAT CHANGE

Honolulu, Hi. U.S.A. The Waikiki Yacht Club announced today that the dates for the 2006 WAIKIKI OFFSHORE SERIES sailboat race will be July 25 - 30, 2006 on the waters off Waikiki and between the islands of Oahu and Maui, Hawaii. As one of the world's premier sailboat racing locations, it attracts high profile boats and sailors seeking the challenge of competing on legendary Hawaiian waters.

The challenging Molokai Race will now be a stand-alone regatta sailed July 25, 2006. The classic 145 mile race from Waikiki to Maui and back will take the boats along the north shore of Molokai for a view of the worlds tallest ocean cliffs.

The Waikiki Offshore Series will take place July 25 - 30 on the Waters off Waikiki and the island of Oahu. It will include six buoy races and one medium distance race. The awards reception for both regattas will be held July 30, 2005.
