The Awards reception at the Waikiki Yacht Club featured re-dedicated perpetual trophies from the Clipper / Kenwood cup regattas to lend a historical connection to this new event.

This is the best racing I have ever done said a crew from Braveheart. There is no better place to sail than Hawaii and combined with the great Aloha Spirit and the very able race committee made this an event

to be remembered for a long time. We will be back.

The announcement of the 2005 Waikiki Offshore Series dates and format will be made next week.
